Fauvist seamless pattern designs

The vibrant Fauvist patterns are inspired directly from the turn of the 20th-century art movement led by artists such as Henri Matisse and André Derain, which rocked the art world with its revolutionary approach to color and form.

Much like the Fauvists who’d rather paint vivid dreamscapes than ordinary reality, these patterns incorporate vibrant, non-representative colors that explode on the scene. The Fauvists were all about bold and audacious tones, unleashed from the traditional paintbox norms. In our designs, you’ll find warm yellows blending seamlessly into bright blues, vibrant purples, electric greens or fiery reds, and so much more. These colors don’t necessarily adhere to what’s seen in real life, but they’re guaranteed to create a visual feast for the eyes.
